Assistant Scenic Designer: The Spitfire Grill, Southwestern University

I designed, constructed, and acquired 80 plus custom props for our recent production of The Spitfire Grill. I also oversaw their organization both on and off stage. As well as handled builds for major set pieces such as the custom shelved island for example. //I designed, constructed, and acquired 80 plus custom props for our recent production of The Spitfire Grill. I also oversaw their organization both on and off stage. As well as handled builds for major set pieces such as the custom shelved island for example.// During this production, I was responsible for creating and collecting all the props used for this prop-heavy production. This included whole kitchen props, trick prop food made specifically to make the script, and handmade breakaway plates. An additional challenge for this show was to do a "green show" where I was challenged to not buy anything. By the of of production, this show had over 80 individual hand props.
